So, did you see Priscilla Presley on "Dancing with the Stars?" If you take a Barbie doll and squeeze her head with your fingers on the sides...that's what Priscilla's face looks like. Bless her heart! What a plastic surgery mishap!

It reminded me of my Malibu Barbie that I got when I was 4. (Only 25 short years ago) She was tan, had her own beach towel, really a cute girl. My dog Ginger picked her up one night and chewed up one of her feet. The incident could have been much worse, but she was wearing a lovely pair of fuchsia pumps at the time...the shoes...not so lucky. Anyway, now Malibu Barbie was Gimp Foot Barbie! Later on, I got a Superstar Barbie! She had an Austrian Crystal ring, necklace, earrings and you should have seen her wardrobe! The Barbie Townhouse came along and I also got a Malibu Ken. He had a great tan too! I was set! Me, Ronnie and Amy played for many hours! (Well, somebody had to be Ken!)

Now Ken matched Malibu Barbie, but for some reason, he liked Superstar Barbie better. Well, Gimp Foot Barbie would get psychotic and would try to push Superstar Barbie off the 3rd floor! It was quite a Soap Opera! Anyway, Ken didn't like Malibu Barbie because she was so needy! It really had nothing to do with her Gimp Foot, not with her little body! He just couldn't stand her neediness!

Do you ever feel needy? Well, I do. I am needy. I need hugs and kisses from my family and kind words from my friends and coworkers! I even need the "thank you wave" after letting a car over in traffic! I also need God to answer my prayers but, sometimes I just feel so wrong for asking. I mean with Iraq, tornadoes, our economy...talk about bigger fish to fry! How does that compare with my desires? But if you remember, he knows the numbers of hair on my head. (That's a lot to keep up with, because you should see the shower drain after a shampoo!)

Please remember, if you have a Malibu Barbie, don't leave her out at night where your pet can do damage...just don't.

The point to this crazy, sorted story is this. We are all very important to God! He loves us far more than we can comprehend. He just wants to hear from us! Talk to him today. Blessings to all, :) Sandy

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4

Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows. "And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God. Luke 12:7-8
