Snip-it from Sandy

Other Snip-its

I am not much on reading books. In fact, my current selections are on Sharks, Snakes, Insects or Skateboarding! My soon-to-be 11 year old, Wyatt enjoys those subjects! I do, however, read a lot from the computer. I really enjoy learning new things and I found out how Christ is in each one of us and this is scientifically proven!

I learned about proteins in our body that hold us together called Laminin. By definition, Laminin is a family of proteins that are a part of the structural scaffolding of basement membranes in almost every animal tissue. You see.... laminins are what hold us together.... LITERALLY. They are cell adhesion molecules. They are what holds one cell of our bodies to the next cell. Without them, we would literally fall apart. So, God knitted our human bodies together with amazing detail and wonder.

The most awesome thing about Laminin is what it looks like...Here is a picture of the structure of laminin! I did not make this up either! I consider myself to have a lot of common sense, but am no means a Rocket Scientist! Here...look at Laminin!

AMAZING!!! Did this not take your breath?
The glue that holds us together.... ALL of us.... is in the shape of the cross. So, God put the symbol of Christ in ALL OF US! Don't you think that is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! We are being held together, one cell to the other by the Cross!
                                                                                               In amazement,
Sandy :)

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things HOLD TOGETHER.  Colossians 1:15-17
