I spend a lot
of time on the computer. One of my favorite things to
do, is to take surveys from my family and friends. My
goal is always to make someone laugh. I can picture them
sitting there quietly, after the kids have gone to
school and the husband to work, drinking their morning
juice or coffee and then to almost have it spew from
their nostrils because they are now bursting with
laughter!
There are wacky questions such as: What color socks are
you wearing? Or what food do you hate? Would you ever
bungee jump? Do you have any tattoos? The answers by the
way are: gray, green peas, no and can't tell ya!
These surveys really allow you to learn a lot about
people that you never knew. For instance, I have a
friend who had the nickname "Tulip!" And I learned that
my Mom's favorite type of food is Japanese! I have
another friend that hates doughnuts...how can anyone
pass up a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut?
Well, there was a tidbit on the news, about a Pastor
somewhere out west that speaks of Jesus being somewhat
outspoken! He is brutally honest telling of Jesus being
somewhat of a rebel! Sometimes we think of Jesus as only
meek and forgiving, but it is important to know all of
him. One of my favorite parts in the bible, is when
Jesus told the story of the Ox falling into a pit on the
Sabbath...do you leave it because you are not permitted
to labor on the Sabbath? No! {Luke 14:5-6}
I pray today that you fill out a special survey with
Jesus and get to know him better. By the way..."What is
your favorite scripture?"
