As I write this, I
am in a little bit of a panic and yet also relieved. It
is 7:48 am and I am sitting in a long line to get gas.
The light came on in my Cruiser a few days ago, so I
switched to the more gas efficient car for a few days,
but now the light is about to come on. I don't want to
be one of those pitiful souls on the news, pushing my
car over on the side of the road. What is up with
this??? In my 29 long years, I have seen Y2K, 9/11 and
even the Gas-a-hol deal back in the 80's. This makes you
feel totally helpless! What do you do in a situation
when you can't do anything but just wait? You need to
turn to God of course.
It is truly amazing how you can be so anxious, mad or
frustrated about a situation, turn it over to God in
prayer and awaken with some type of peace or renewal.
God is truly great! I really don't think that God wants
harm to come to anyone, but I also think that sometimes,
he wants our attention. When is the last time you
thanked God for all that you have? I did this morning at
$4.29 per gallon and thankful to get it!
